Flower Ovary



A flower ovary is a part of the female reproductive organ of the flower. It is the part of the pistil which holds the ovule and is located above, below, or at the point of connection with the base of the petals and sepals. In this picture, the flower ovary is the green part.

Endotherm



He is an endotherm because his body temperature is regulated internally. This is also known as warm-blooded.

Endosperm



An endosperm is a nutritive tissue in seed plants formed within the embryo sac by division of the endosperm nucleus. This popcorn is an endosperm because of the starch and oil inside the hull.

Ectotherm



This lizard is an ectotherm because he controls his body temperature through external means. This is also known as cold-blooded.

Cellulose



This plant contains cellulose in its cell walls. Cellulose is a polysaccharide (C6H10O5) of glucose units that constitutes the chief part of the cell walls of plants.

Bryophyte



This moss is a bryophyte because a bryophyte is any of a division of nonflowering plants comprising the mosses, liverworts, and hornworts.

Basidiomycete



This mushroom is a basidiomycete, which is any of a group of higher fungi that have septate hyphae and spores borne on a basidium.
